Abstract:
It is impossible to live in isolation in the 21st century because this is the age of globalization. All states are dependent on each other. So, they try to establish and maintain amicable relations. With this in mind, Pakistan and India took the initiative to improve their hostile relations. Pakistan opens the Kartarpur Corridor for Indian Sikh pilgrims to visit their Guru Dera in the Pakistan district Narowal. This initiative is appreciated worldwide and considered a Corridor of Hope. Although, no positive gesture of peace from the Indian government's side, it is a ray of hope that artificial evils and hatred will slowly flow away like water. And if nothing else, when people meet on the other side of the border, their misunderstandings will go away. The concerns of the Indians are baseless, illogical, and merely political rhetoric. Yet it is an unprecedented development in the history of both countries, and it is a milestone. For Sikhs, opening this corridor is no less than a blessing. For them, Kartarpur Dera Sahib is like Madinah for Muslims. It is very important for Pakistan economically, socially, culturally, religiously, and diplomatically. It will pave the way for better relations between the two countries in the years to come.
